I work as manager of M&E with a program run by an international NGO focusing on community-based watershed conservation and management in Colombia. A constant barrier is the lack of funding to undertake independent, long term impact monitoring. I am seeking to establish partnerships with several universities to overcome this barrier, but I would still need to find some level of funding to cover things like local travel and living costs, researcher stipends, maybe basic materials.
