I find myself doing some research on how to evaluate the rationality of love, working with Jon Elster's theory of rationality. That is why I would like to know if anyone knows any other model that considers the possibility of evaluating the rationality of emotions.

I know this may come across as of no relevance yet your question led me to ponder if anyone has developed a model for the emotionalism of rational thinking. If the premise is that we are emotional beings who are always in some sort of emotional state then what emotional state(s) are we in when we are being rational?

The central idea of the question is that academics like Jon Elster have dedicated some words to indicate that the emotions can be constituted from processes of rationalization analyzing the beliefs and the desires that motivate them. That is why in the last years I have study how to constitute a rational love. I have already worked a model, however, I am interested in knowing if someone is working something similar.
