Try to initialize the instrument at the factory setting or default setting. If it doesnot work, the best way is to contact the company person.

Your problem is likely related to the broken xenon lamp. Check, the lamp is shining? To check, run the FL WINLAB -aplication-status-source then turn on/off lamp (press 1/0 button near lamp picture, and you must hear sound of working lamp). If source work correctly, try to reinstall FL Winlabг

I just had the same problem. The well plate reader of the ls55 did not respond and I couldn't load any methods (same error message as above). I checked the xenon lamp as suggested here and it worked - and I am very happy about that! Indeed, simply reinstalling FLWinlab solved the problem then. Thanks!

FLWinLab was developed about 20 years ago (actually by me) to work on Windows 3.1. I thibnk it is remarkable that it survived so many OS versions. From my experience it became unstable starting from Windows XP (e,g, the old fashioned DDE communication between components was no longer reliable).

BLStudio is the successor of FLWinLab (also available via PE) that runs on all Windows versions following XP. Please feel free to download a free of charge demo version (fully functional except that methods and data can not be saved) from our homepage.
