Amorphous phase of every polymer has its own characteristics. how we can distinguish the different amorphous phases of different polymers.
Dear researcher,
You should try to estimate very carefully the density of the amorphous phase and find its relationship with the corresponding experimental conditions.
Give infrared and/or Raman microspectroscopy a try. Since the vibrational signatures of different polymers are also differing and you obtain also signals from amorphous samples, these should be the method(s) of choice.
Check by XRD so you can distinguish between amorphous and crystalline polymers.
