I would like to functionalize a polymeric nanoparticle with a fluorescent molecule (i.e antibody or a FITC). I was told that after the functionalization process I would need to use a dialysis membrane in order to remove the excess of fluorescent molecule. Is there any other method to do so?

" Anti-solvent precipitation followed by centrifuge", as mentioned by Bouaziz, could separate the nanoparticles, but their could be coagulation or compression of the particles in the centrifugation tube or depending on the size and density of the particles probably there will be a need for higher rotation speed (e.g. 18000 rpm). So, if it didn't work, still the dialysis bag could be a better choice.
