Does anyone have the actual items for the MMI - media multitasking index questionare. Orphir, Nass & Wagner. Or know where to get them? The papers all write as if it's obvious and available but I haven't found the actual item wording. I assume it's something like "how often in the last week have you?"

What I see in these references (and have seen before) is this: Participants first indicated how many hours a week they use 12 different forms of media (e.g., video games, email, television), and then for each of the 12 types of media they reported how often they use each of the other 11 forms of media while using that form primarily. The allowable responses included: 0 = never, 1 = a little of the time, 2 = some of the time, to 3 = most of the time.
The second paper lists the categories.
My remaining questions are:
- Is the hours of use reported first open ended?
- Is the request for that info simply : How often per week do you?
Or is there any scene setting language?
- The first cite say something about a matrix, which may suggest that the thing has a specific set up visually to make responding easier for participants. If so, i'd like to see that.
