Which technique makes the pitch factor bigger in PM machines with fractional slot concentrated winding:

1- enlarge the width of the wound teeth to make the coil span equal to pole pitch either the tooth tip is equal or not to pole pitch.

2- Only Tooth tip equal to pole pitch is sufficient.
