Social media can be used to recruit study participants to participate in online data collection. But how does one insure the participants meet the eligibility criteria?

An other question is the bias of selection. For exeample, we studied adoption through adopted association of parents ans young adoptees, adopted parents answered and invited their children to answer. So we can compare answers from adoptive parents and young adoptees. We found for young adoptees, that the percentage of participants was higher when the school failure was lower.
