perhaps the Norwegian colleagues from Oslo University can help you with maps of Tanzanian basins. Henning Dypvik just visited Pretoria and gave a very nice presentation on their work in Tanzania.
Dear Atila, you should contact Harald Stollhofen from the Earth Science department at Erlangen University in Germany. He was the sedimentologist - jointly with Ian Stanistreet from England - in our group. Out of Würzburg we worked a lot with Ph.D. students and a few postdocs in Namibia from 1991 until 2001 and Harald kept on working there. What are your interests in the sediment basins of Namibia?
Ivan Callegari, yes I a very interested. Isn't it large enough to send it to my email ([email protected])? Or via Dropbox, or any cloud files system?
Volker Lorenz, thanks for the contacts. In fact, I am interested in correlating the Triassic deposits from South America to the African, Indian and Australian ones. I will contact Dr. Stollhofen, that I already know from some papers.
I can strongly recommend that you use GPlates as your plate modelling software to help you with the correlations. http://www.gplates.org/download.html
If you do not have access to ArcGIS or MapInfo - I recommend qgis - http://maps.cga.harvard.edu/qgis/
Please message me, [email protected], I will be able to help you with some of the references, that I have used.
You might also contact Jennie Totterdell at GA (Canberra, Australia) - or browse the GA web-pages http://www.ga.gov.au/ they have some good data online.
Also, don't forget as an Academic you are able to access the Antarctic SCAR - SDLS database. http://www.scar.org/2014-03-27-11-25-51/sdls. This may interest you also.
