Does anyone do a research about geomagnetic field variation influence on microwave radio propagation?

Recently, I've measured some variations in receiving signal strength of a LOS radio communication link at 5 GHz which were moderately correlated with geomagnetic field strength variations at the receiving antenna site. Those variations were in the absolute of 8 dB. Does anyone do or did a kind of similar research, I'd like to compare results.
