I would like to calibrate my 5600 TripleTof in the 1500 Da to 3000 Da range for some intact protein LC-MS experiments, but he Sciex standards max out at 922 Da (APCI positive calibrant). Does anyone else calibrate these systems in this range? Maybe with Na-Formate or NaCsI? I cannot find a good accurate mass lost for these, but I know they are out there. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Agilent's calibration standard goes up to around 1500. Not sure what it contains, but it is published.
It turns out the Sciex apci positive std goes up to 1500-ish. Sciex told me their calibration is pretty linear and stays accurate well beyond 1500 m/z. That being said, there are some interesting papers on cesium salts of perfluoro- butyric and heptanoic acids. Super interesting, but I'm not brave enough to try it.
