Does anybody know the reaction between ethanol and tetrabutylammoniumtetrafluoroborate (TBATFB) in anodic electrochemistry?

I'm synthesizing MOF via electrochemical method and I need to know the electron transport mechanism

we use both thanol and tetrabutylammoniumtetrafluoroborate as supporting electrolyte for electrochemical polymerization of monomer (electrochemical synthesis of conducting polymers). no electrochemical reaction between ethanol and TBATFB was observed. if there is electrochemical reaction,ethanol is likely to be electrochemically oxidized (see electrocatalytic oxidationof alcohol in fuel cells).
