Anybody know some substrates that can hydrolysis and produce chromogenic product?
For example: 5-bromo-4-chloro-indoxyl and indoxylic
I want make Chromogenic media.
p-nitrophenol-B-D-Glucuronide is such substrate which on hydrolysis releases nitrophenol which is coloured.
What enzyme do you want to test for?
I want use this substrate on to microbial culture media.
Understood, but is there a specific enzyme activity you want to test for in the media? For example, X-gal tests for the presence of beta-galactosidase.
Can someone suggest how to improve stability of protein in ELISA kit when coated in ELISA plate?
