We are interested in models of sound detection by lateralline organ of a fish, which explain the physical nature of the process. A few years ago we published a paper with the model of such type (file is attached). Now we have an improved model based on that idea (resonance mechanism of the sound detection). Before publishing, I would like to discuss the idea with a scientific community. We have positive replies on our previous (attached) paper (describing the idea) from theoretical physicists and mathematicians. It would be interesting to get a reply from biophysicist and biologist. Do you know other models of the process?
