I want to design some molecule for a biological application and I need a polymer chain to form a micelle (or a coiled conformation) but also being soluble in biological fluid.
I don't remember details, but check publications about Photodynamic Therapy of Cancer Threatment. There polymers are being often used as carriers for photosensitizers. Check some reviews, like this one:
to form micelles, polyethylene glycol steareat will be a good choice but you should use the polymer having a large head group like polyoxyethylene glycol (40) steareat. you can also use lipo-polymers such as DSPE-PEG2000
