Did anybody check out the Poster on GCaMP6 on last year's SFN? I'm asking because Addgene offers three versions, GCaMP6f, m, s - which is fast, medium and slow I guess. However, I'm interested in real affinities, on- and off- kinetics.

Hi Trevor, I am also quite interested at the G-CamP6 sequence. Is it possible to find it anywhere isolated from plasmid, CMV promoter and other components? I need to use it for a viral vector for expression in insects and I need to express it in my own baculoviral vector and with my own neuronal promoter.

I'll pick up on this old discussion. As Marco, I woud like to have the sequence of GCamp6 s/m/f only, without other parts of the plasmid. Do you by any chance have these sequences?
I did find the sequences of the plasmids on Addgene (like this one https://www.addgene.org/40754/sequences/), but they are not really annotated, and I'm not sure what else, apart from GCamp6, is in the plasmid (as in, whether there is a terminator right afer GCamp6, or there is a linker and some other protein, etc).

Emily, try Pennsylvania vectore core. We use the virus from them. It works beautifully. There is a catalogie and pricing on their web. It is not so expensive. The titres are pretty high. Actually, we had the oposit problem (filling the nuclei with GC6, probably due to too many gene copies entering each neuron) and were forced to dilute the titre a little bit.
