You can find there the estimates of production of selected manufactured construction materials for Australia considering the followings. - Data presented in this Website are collected from ABS surveys of manufacturing production. - Production statistics sourced from ABS manufacturing production surveys are collected from businesses believed to be engaged in pre-mixed concrete manufacturing or the manufacture of other selected commodities in Australia. - The ABS introduced the new geographical classification, Australian Statistical Geography Standard (ASGS) for sub-state level estimates. This has resulted in changes to the sub-state level data that is available on an Information - Other ABS publications which may be of interest are:
Australian Industry (cat. no. 8155.0) Manufacturing Industry, Australia (ct. no. 8221.0) - Items for which additional production data are available are: MonthlyPre-mixed concrete QuarterlyClay bricks (for structural purposes) Clay bricks (for other than structural purposes) Concrete bricks, blocks and pavers Terracotta and concrete roofing tiles - The value of sales for commodities produced (classified in accordance with the Manufacturing Input-Output Commodity Classification, ANZSIC 1993 basis) is available on request from ABS for a charge, as a historical time series (2001-02 to 2005-06) from the discontinued Manufacturing Industry publication (Cat No. 8221.0). - For further information from ABS, you may contact the National Information and Referral Service on 1300 135 070.
