I have a behavioral session that lasts 6h and might need to give more than one injection (i.p) of propranolol to maintain the inhibition of the beta-adrenergic sytem in the brain. I am wondering to know how long after the first injection I will have to give the second injection ovoiding over dosdage? Knowing that the half-life of prpranolol in rats is 1-3h and that I will use a dose of 5 or 10 mg/kg.

Any idea , references for propranolol pharmacokinetic in rat, and inhibiting brain noradreneric sytem for along time with an i.p injection?
