For me, starting from the Planck wall, quantum gravity and the Higgs field emerge. I personally think that the Higgs field helps primitive particles to come together and then quantum black holes form via quantum gravity. This quantum gravity will pile up these primitive particles to form quantum black holes such as protons and neutrons. For me a proton is a black hole which is formed from a "sea" of primitive protons. For me a primitive proton has the mass of a proton at rest but a radius well below the Planck length. The process could be identical for the neutron.
Once more: Protons and neutrons are NOT black holes! They make sense only in asymptotically flat spacetime. And the spacetime in which their properties are studied is, to a very good approximation, flat.
The mass of any object is well-defined only in asymptotically flat spacetime. That's why the question doesn't make sense.
There's no such notion as a ``Planck wall'' and, when quantum gravity is relevant, neither the Higgs, nor any known form of matter, makes sense. What matter is when quantum gravity becomes relevant isn't known.

The problem of quantum gravity isn't that spacetime geometries are in superposition-it's what is the measure over the group of diffeomorphisms. The reason is that the group is noncompact.
