Do you think it is mandatory to stay in the hospital after a ESWL ?

Because for (wrong) financial reasons, the CEO of my hospital asks me to declare an ambulatory care for all my ESWL , i am quite annoyed.

In my hospital we perform ESWL in ambulatory regimen for financial reasons too. Patients stay in observation for 2-3 hours after procedure. If necessary, painkillers may be useful.
