Recent cases showed that many young children exposed to mobile media, especially social media, feel overwhelmed. Some became celebrities and got lost in the quick fame; some were too much stuck in the virtual world; some became mentally burdened after they failed dealing with the negative feedback from others. The latest case showed a Chinese pop diva's 9-year-old daughter used Weibo (Chinese Twitter) and WeChat (Chinese Instagram) to defend her older sister whom some people commented on social media is ugly-looking. Aware of the controversy, the father soon closed down her accounts and made a public announcement saying she's too young for social media and to confront the pressure.
