Now a days many researchers are depositing their research paper draft as preprint in various web-based option, those are not peer reviewed yet or may submitted already or will be submitted in a Journal. This is similar like unpublished data those many Journals discourage to cited in a paper/article. What is your opinion?

It's allowed to cite a preprint if it's relevant to the present study once it is referred to as "preprint" and not "published". Although a major drawback is that it is yet to be peer-reviewed and subjected to constructive criticism, the benefits are numerous which include rapid dissemination of discoveries, open access, feedback generation, right to data, etc
