I've just added an unsolved problem in Mathematics to the list on

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_unsolved_problems_in_mathematics

in the category Dynamical Systems. It states: "Lyapunov's second method for stability - For what classes of ODEs, describing dynamical systems, does the Lyapunov’s second method formulated in the classical and canonically generalized forms define the necessary and sufficient conditions for the (asymptotical) stability of motion?"

This list presents the most topical right now and important for the future development of Mathematics problems. My problem is remarkable with its wide field of various immediate applications in the science and technology. To solve the problem you need to

  • master Nonlinear Analysis, Theory of Differential Equations, Stability Theory, Topology and Geometry;
  • study my works;
  • have extraordinary mathematical intuition;
  • work hard.
