Pictures taken in Andalusia, Iruela, ~1000 m.
Habitat of Agapantha asphodeli, Rhagonycha fulva, Heliotaurus, etc.
It could be a member of Apiaceae family
I am not very sure but could be Ferula communis or some species of Lomatium.
What do you think about Thapsia villosa?
Yes surely it is Thapsia villosa
Thapsia villosa and Ferula communis both are found in Andalusia, Spain. However, Lomatium dissectum has not been reported from the same region.
Thank you very much to all! :-)
I think that it is Ferula communis,
Muchas gracias!
How can I distinguish Ferula from Thapsia?
My best greetings to your town, which I very much appreciated during my holidays. :-)
Francesco,
according to a friend, botanic of the University of Santiago de Compostela, it is Thapsia villosa.
But to be 100% sure he will need images with the fruits and, more accurately, of the leaves.
Hope it helps!!!
It seems that leaves are very important; thus I have cut another picture.
Sorry for the quality, but leaves were not the subject of this picture...
