I'm looking for a list of research topics along with subtopics in health. Medline (https://medlineplus.gov/healthtopics.html) provides a good high-level list but if you click on any of the topics, you'll see TOO many detailed subtopics... Is there any other similar list that provides more aggregated subtopics?
I've found several other lists but they mostly include many subtopics without any clear organization/aggregation.

The finest grain is MESH terms. These have the advantage that they are tree-structured, so you can choose your level of detail.

In addition to what have been told earlier, I suggest you the use of endnote. In there, you can search many libraries online or on your intranet. After clicking on the,search icon, many options arise like title, author name, year of publication, journal name, book name, publisher and so on. You can choose one or more of the option to refine your search.

Thank you, Ibrahim. I'm a loyal EndNote user... :) but that's not exactly what I'm looking for. The tree-structured info that Ronán provided is exactly what I need. It has good high-level categories of subjects and depending on your use, you can go to lower levels and get more details.
You can check list of the "health and medical sciences" topics in the Proquest US dissertations dataset for a standard (but limited) set of topics. We have been using these topics in our topic network analysis of dissertations. http://media2.proquest.com/documents/subject-categories-academic.pdf
