I am not an expert in the field, but I guess 'Issues of participation in a University-NGO, North-South partnership: Internationalizing a CED program', by Brohman, J., Gannitsos, I., Roseland, M. could be of any use to you.
Generally speaking about publications on the link between NGOs and Universities, I suggest you 'Collaborations as an alternative to projects: Cornell experience with university-NGO-government networking' by Uphoff, N., 'New partnerships linking universities and NGO's on education for development engineering - Case study from engineers without borders Australia' by Smith J. et al., 'Bridging the gaps: Lessons learned from an NGO-University partnership' by Mendenhall, M. & Anderson, A.
I have found the book by Reddy in Google Books, where you can read some steps but not the whole text.
This seems a really interesting area to explore. Good luck with your research.
