Dear colleagues! I have such a question from my interests’ area. Do you have the experience of integrating inquiry and storytelling? I have an idea to write the technology of selecting questions into a scientific text or articles presented as storytelling for students of certain age categories. What should these questions be, so that through the responses to them students learned high-level training material.

Story telling is an effective way to engage students. All great educators are story tellers. What questions your story should develop and incorporate depends on what you want the students to learn. Often the purpose of stories is not necessarily to teach a concept but to trigger student interest. The best way to discuss is to look the specif learning goals. Perhaps post your specific scenario.
I think Mariappan has nailed it. Before you can educate students, they must be given a reason to pay attention and that often involves the skillful and interesting presentation (storytelling) of information. The purpose of education is not to turn students into stenographers, but to improve their abilities to think and analyze. To accomplish that worthy goal students must be actively engaged.

In my work or research, storytelling is about re-representation. The integration of inquiry and storytelling is of method. When you think that the inquiry is an approach, then need not to be integrated, but you can get many verbal representation. Empirically, an inquiry is to pose something as wide as or in depth through questions for develop the storytelling competencies.
