Insects have been displaying rapid range expansion northewards during last decades in North Europe . E.g. some Lepidoptera (moths/butterflies) have expanded their range even by over 500 km northwards during a decade in Finland. It seems that there must be other factors than climate change alone to explain this "over-reaction". Any ideas of possible other factors augmenting this phenomenon?
