Dear mister Nerlich,

I'm an archaeologist in Geneva.

In 2005, a curious object was discovered in an early 18th century tomb during the archaeological excavation of a church in the canton.

Thanks to your excellent article ‘Beiplatten und Fontanellenbleche zu medizinischer Anwendung in mittelalterlichen un neuzeitlichen Gräbern’, published in 2016 with G. Nerlich, I now know that it is a Fontanellenbleche.

For the Swiss comparisons (Qiuinto, Zurzach and Risch), you quote an unpublished dissertation: A.Näff, Kleinfundarbeitung, Mittelaterarchäologie: Fontanenbleche, Unveröffentlichte Abschlussarbeit, Zürich 2012.

As I am unable to contact Mrs Näff or to obtain her work, perhaps could you help me? Do you have her email address? Do you know where I could get a copy of this document?

If you're interested in our discovery, I'll be happy to send you some photos.

With my thanks and best regards

Isabelle Plan
