There are different teaching methods that can lead students to learn further that cognitive skills. Through the project method students can share information, roles, and learnings. Yes I agree. Teaching English requires teaching culture implicitly or explicitly, so positive values and traditions can achieved through correct teaching of foreign cultures.
Focussing on the school system, I believe that moral values can be taught transversally throughout a school curriculum. However, although we should avoid the worst excesses of cultural/moral relativism, care should obviously be taken to respect cultural differences and to avoid indoctrination. With regard to English teaching, we should be careful not to force the world view of the dominant anglophone countries onto others.
Moral values are macro level parameters based on which a given course is designed. However, at micro level of language teaching, teachers' full attention must be zeroed in on helping learners to make the best of their time in the class- that is, using language functionally in simulated real life contexts. Keeping this in mind, there remains little time to be spent on the moral aspects of life.
I really appreciate your comments.In 2017 I defended my PhD thesis about environmental education through English teaching. The main method I used was the project method. It was really awesome how students well directed could carry out the learning activities to be shown in the classroom. I don´t think that indoctrination was around my lesson. Students felt free to see what was going around their research topic and the debate was rich indeed. There were students for and against the statements and I, as the facilitator, provided further information and monitored the process. I think that if we want them to develop positive moral values in our curriculum we must supply the best model and favorable environment to transit from perception. knowledge, consciousness, reflection, abilities, habits to behavior.
Learning English is very important . Especially in our current era connected with all countries of the world . Increases the culture and the student’s knowledae in positire way . Thus increasing the possibility of developing it in many ways .

English is a means of communication throughout the world. In the terms we manage this language we might have friends in Egypt, China, India and wherever . That´s why language and interpersonal relations are closely connected. Our lessons and I don´t mean thay have to be "indoctrinated" must chase something real and not solely contents of grammar. It should be a deed that our students use this international language to talk about universal culture or just simply to ask: How are you doing teacher? I would like you to tell me about your life or just to tell me how can I we go ahead in this life full of unfair social differences. In this way We can promote moral values to foster our best values as human beings. I think so
