It is this 1% that is of significant importance, and warrants further consideration, since it typically attributes to the breaching and sometimes catastrophic failure of the overall effectiveness of the intended building envelope. It typically is "poor" workmanship, inadequate waterproofing detailing, and/or carelessness of interpreting waterproofing details, that can lead to actual and direct waterproofing leaks, and lack of "water-tightness".
