I'm not familiar with this "copyright" thing, so is there anyone who can help me with this matter?
Right now I/m writing a review article regarding natural products and their active compounds, in that paper, I want to include their compounds such as caffeic acid, rutin and etc.
I also want to put their pictures of chemical structures there.
I'm wondering, whether I should ask permission from the authors whom I'm going to use the chemical structure, as all the compounds are commonly found in many natural products.
Anyone, please help me!!

I think there is no problem with this issue, but be careful if you want to use another's method, you should refer to them in your article.

Definitely you will need copyright permission to use another author chemical structure in your article.
No need of permission, but you should refer their work in your article. I also did same
