I would like to get the opinion of scientific community about my interesting question “Do plants have feelings like animals”? Do you think plants enjoy a rain shower, plants enjoy sun light?
We express our enjoyment by some moves in muscles. As the plants grow instead of moving like us therefore we should expect to find the good feeling from a full sun or rain shower as a growth response. However, as the growth responses are more slower compared to moving by animals we cant observe it readily. But using movie techniques, when we fast forward a season of growth by a plant we could see those growth moves in response to environmental stimuli. Therefore I think that we can consider that they also have feelings but the way they express those feelings and the speed of expression makes it hard for us to perceive them.
However, the trained eye of a farmer who had lived with a plant for several years could perceive such a plant responses much better than a researcher.
