Yes, the telephone towers are a big issue for bee population. The electromagnetic radiation (EMR) from these towers interfere with bees‘ food collection. Rsearch studies show that the EMR severely affect the bee colonies in close proximity of cell phone towers.

Not only beekeeping but also other agricultural activities, farming even human lives are under risks of the mobile telephone tower. I am very alert regarding the health hazard of telephone networks, the radiation from mobile telephones, people communicate in the public place, transports, even the eve of driving !!
I think so. Mobile phone towers pose another threat to the ecosystem because of the radio waves being emitted or picked up from sub-stations in different parts of the city that mislead bees and prevent them from returning to their cells after an arduous journey to collect nectar and pollen, British scientists said.
A group of researchers at the University of Landau German that bees find it difficult to return to the cells when there are mobile phones close to them. And that many hives are abandoned and collapsed because they are free of working bees.
