In another words, the teaching they receive in thier schools or institutions, is it enough for them so they can use Facebook or any other social media sites as any normal person?
We need assistive technologies available to them in order to use social media sites, but not all schools and universities are adequately equipped to provide such technologies as mentioned here: https://www.teachthought.com/technology/15-assistive-technology-tools-resources-for-students-with-disabilities/

Dear Walaa, Having grown up in pre-internet India, I do not think any special training is required to use social media. In fact, you would be surprised at the tech-savviness of children with hearing loss. Is there a particular reason that you're worried about this?
I agree with you. We need more attention regarding this topic. I noticed that first world countries focus more on the needs of deaf people than third world countries (Most studies were held in the United States and Spain).
Dear Pragati , you have a point there, but the most import thing in my opinion is to teach them how to write and read written texts (Not only focus on teach them sign language) at first, then develop assistive technologies to them, so they can use social networking sites easily. If they can't read written language, here assistive technologies help them to understand what is written.
Thanks Dr. Haitham. I am conducting a study here in Jordan on the impact of Social Networking Sites on Deaf and Hard of Hearing (D/HoH) people ,and at the same time, I am developing an assistive web- browser, to fill the gap between their language education and using the Internet in general. Since, unfortunately, not all D/HoH people know how to read and write in Arabic.
