More and more areas in Africa are covered by droughts, lack of rainfall and higher heat temperatures. In some coastal locations, off the coast of the oceans, in America, in Southeast Asia, in Polynesia tornadoes appear more and more dramatic. However, in Alaska, Canada, Norway and other countries where there are glaciers in the mountains, there are fewer and fewer glaciers. I think that your question - at present technical and scientific level - can not be answered. We have found correlation and causality between greenhouse gases and climate, and also between greenhouse gases and the probability and distribution of specific weather events (i.e. climate variability), but have no tool for calculating the percentage contribution of increased quantity of greenhouse gases to one randomly selected weather event.

Priority should be given to the question as to how anomalous current weather/ climate is: Distinguishing between measured climate measurements and their impacts which may well have increased with population size, location and wealth. Only after establishing a statistically meaningful change in frequency can we link it with changes in atmospheric composition. Most climate parameters do not show significant climate anomalies. For example in the USA the high temperatures and low rainfall recorded in the 1930's exceed current records. Neither has the frequency of hurricanes increased.

The question is very tricky: since CC has been accepted as a reality many people (incl. many scientists) see every hazard, any coastal erosion, any calving of glaciers to produce icebergs as an impact of CC. Things are certainly more complex: that we see coconut palms lying at eroded beaches has been happening for millions of years as coastal erosion is a natural event, which has always happened. Same with calving glaciers, nothing new it is a very natural event which has nothing to do with CC. Coastal erosion as well as calving glaciers, however, are influenced by CC, become more distinct...... Back to the question: weather has variations, no summer is the same, no winter exactly as last year's winter. Such variations have always happened and they do not necessarily indicate CC. The climate is the weather average over a long observation period, of 30 or more years..... So weather anomalies can be rather 'normal' weather variations or an indication of CC, or both of it..... Strictly speaking do weather variations also have their reasons, which usually is very difficult to exactly identify as weather is something extremely complex..... I hope that this helps a bit to understand the issue addressed int he question in a language most should be able to follow.
