No doubt Sir,it is wonderful opportunity for both farmers as well as scientists to interact, exchange ideas and bridge the gaps on either side.

At least for Indian Punjab,it is worth many benefits.

Of course, they have been complying since the previous century with the method of disseminating scientific advances in agriculture and livestock, although at present they have become markets for the large transnational agricultural input companies such as agricultural machinery, agrochemicals and others.

now there is the internet to help the diffusion but the government should promote scientific advances and charge companies for the exhibitions because they are the ones that lead the profit.

There is surely no other effective via medium for mass sensitization and mass collective dissemination of so many developed technologies at a place where all kinds of end users at one place...

The hot topic to debate. It has several benefits to the "true" farmers, but I heard that many times a "false" farmer wins the award ! !

The way I see is that it may be an avenue to award contract by government agencies and a times it may facilitate corruption. However for whatever motives it may serve a great chance of farmers meeting themselves and exchanging ideas and learning from each other.
