I found three references with the same copied information. How can a researcher act? and what could be the reactions of scientists? (Look a capture inside)
I think if anyone use published material in their research article with citation (reference) then it will be okay, because they only mentioned work reported by someone and use of such copied material acceptance depends on type of journal where it is accepted.
In most of journals they check Plagiarism or originality of paper before going to accept and publish, but some journals just publish without checking originality.
I have no idea about act? but i think copyright person can claim if the researcher use their material without citation of their work.
Hey, it is so easy to check this, you can send an email to Jeffrey Beall ([email protected]) or by opening a discussion on PubPeer and Retraction watch.
Journal which you have posted a snap may not be a reputed journal becouse it is a case of plagiarism. Ruputed journals are now a days checking for similarity index by turnitin software so such case is not happening with reputed journals/Publisher(In case of book)
And the case you have mentioned 3 different reference with similar data is plagiarized by other authors. Only the original citation need to be given for any data.
