Dear Researchers,
When I am using OTEC machine for burr removal in case of Titanium, wise lock screw self tapping (orthopedic implant applications). During testing in lab, I had found that the screwing IN test is not OK (i.e. on POM material which is used as a bone, the screw is not inserted into them). Kindly suggest me the reasons that why it is happening & how screw can perform well during testing?. In addition, also suggest that how the problem of burrs (of OTEC) can be eliminated?
During processing of wise lock screw self tapping in OTEH machine I am using following machine parameters that is given below;
Material Titanium, wise lock screw self tapping, dia 5mm, OTEC machine RPM 200, Time 45 minutes, Media DZP6/6, water & compound.
Kindly suggest me.
