i have glycerol stocks of gene constructs pCAMBIA1305.2-AtDREB1a, i have urgent of my work need to grow very fast E. coli culture isolate plasmid DNA, can you suggest to me how to get fast growth E. coli culture please suggest me
just grow E. coli in LB media with suitable antibiotics. If your plasmid in low copy number and you need more quantities, you can do midi or maxi prep. There are other culture media for E. coli as well that support high growth rate, but at the same time you shouls also think about the multiplication of plasmid. it is not necessary or likely that fast growth will definitely support quantitatively high amount of plasmid yield. So i will recommed you LB+ antibiotics and grow cultures for 20-24 hours, not more than 24 hours.
