It is Convolvulaceae, but I'm not sure what genus and species. You should send a sample to a herbarium curator for identification :-)

This is surely Convolvulaceae and  try in the genus Merremia

Es una planta cosmopolita extremadamente frecuente, adventicia en todos los ambientes de la Argentina y Chile, donde suele invadir terrenos muy disturbados, formando carpetas densas y uniformes. En el área de estudio, es frecuente en el borde de caminos y senderos de todos los ambientes. Ha sido declarada plaga para la agricultura.

Pero desconozco si puede ser un error

Estimado Alfonso, quizá es un error pues la única representante exótica del género en Chile es C. arvensis de acuerdo a Marticorena & Quezada  (Catálogo de la flora vascular de Chile, 1985), Fuentes et al. ( Base de Datos de Especies Exóticas en Chile, 2012) y Zuloaga et al. (Catálogo de las Plantas Vasculares del Cono Sur, 2008). De hecho, de acuerdo a esta última referencia la especie ni siquiera ha sido registrada en el Cono Sur, por lo cual me parece raro lo que menciona Bischeimer, pues esta tampoco es una especie frecuente (a diferencia de C. arvensis). Hasta ahora solo hemos observado tres poblaciones naturalizadas en áreas urbanas de la zona central de Chile, así que creo que el paso siguiente será revisar los herbarios CONC y SGO para ver si existen especímenes depositados que quizá no han sido publicados.

Dear Marpha, thanks for your answer. I know that identifying plants using photographs is not the best alternative, however, it is a good approximation when the ID of a species is completely unknown. After the answers of the experts I reviewed some articles and keys to confirm the ID, and indeed corresponds to C. equitans.

If its leaves are hairy, it may be Convolvulus equitans Benth.

It is a member of the genus Convolvulus of the family Convolvulaceae but the species is not sure.
