Hello dear all, Please I would like to know if it is possible to undertake research work on a product that has been withdrawn from the market, especially a pesticide. This in the field of analytical electrochemistry. Analysis of pesticides in water and fruits.
With banned / regulated substances - this would also be research for narcotics and the like - you usually not only have to acquire the substance but also conform to various regulations in regards to storing, safekeeping and disposal (safety, documentation, access control to the substance and so on). This very much depends on your countries laws and which substance you exactly talk about, so it is not really possible to provide a general answer, and I would recommend legal support by your institution (INAL applies.. ;-)).
