Can anyone explain about DC leakage current? I am clear with AC leakage current but i could not understand DC Leakage current.
Whether DC leakage current in transformer less Grid connected is same as Common mode leakage current / Ground current??
Please Let me know if anybody knows about this .waiting for reply .

My reply may not answer your question completely,but may help get some idea.In 2017 December while installing a Grid-Connected (Transformer less) Solar PV system of 120 KWp,the Inverter reported alarm and tripped.The current in +ve and -ve lines from Solar PV array was not balanced.It was a DC leakage in array.Later we found the Schotky diode on PV module is faulty.tThe DC current instead of completing the Loop ,was rather partially getting by-passed to ground through the faulty Diode (Reverse biased).Also inside inverter ,on the Input DC filter section,Capacitors cause leakage of DC energy.Thank You.
Hi Arivazhagan, Just to add to Mr Das response. there is also a requirement that the leakage current should not exceed 100mA. This basically means the difference between source current (+ve) and return (-ve) from the solar pv array should be
