Hi all, so recently I worked on modulated DSC for frozen solutions formulations mainly having mannitol and buffer salt solutions. I seeing some events happening but don't know if it's actually an event occurring or not. Secondly if so what is it actually for example in picture attached for modulated DSC on the reversing heat flow am I seeing two glass transitions? or it is only one?

Starting temperature is -80

modulation temperature is 1 degree for 100 seconds

isothermal 10 minutes

ramp 1 degree per minute to 20 degrees
