Covid-19 "pushed the limits of health systems" and left "no country untouched," WHO chief says

Covid-19 has been “a tragic reminder to the world of the insecurity and instability disease can cause,” and has shown how critical it is to invest in health, the World Health Organization's director-general said on Thursday.
“The Covid-19 pandemic has changed our world. It has stress tested our political, economic, cultural and social infrastructure,” Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said at the Aspen Security Forum.
COVID 19 has led to collapse of the world's best health care system. Initially as the disease started due to lack of knowledge regarding it... It led to further spread and due to unavailability of any treatment that lead to extra load on the health system. Preventive measures were not initially sticked to and thus led to further spread to other countries from its initial focus China and thus left no country behind and untouched.

Obvoiously. It has not only pushed the boundary but also is on the verge of collapse. Globally, there is need to re-think around approach for universal health coverage. Public health must be made public good
Health care status differs by different countries' contexts. Covid 19 pandemic has changed the way the world was looking to health care system and public health services. So, there is a desperate need now to re think how to develop polices and strategies tailored to each context.There is no anymore ''One size fits all''!
Yes, I do agree and it differs no doubt but unluckily we have seen the gaps even in the most developed countries too, dear Dhekra Annuzaili and health system needs much more attention.
I’m not sure I entirely agree with previous comments. The response to Covid-19 shows how Media induced panic, public hysteria, poor communication and poor and thoughtless policy making can turn a manageable health problem into a disaster.
