Basically, sloshing-mode and piston-mode moonpool resonances depends on the shape of moonpool.

- For plain moonpool (simple square) -

1. Fixed condition - B.Molin's theoretical formula.

2. Floating conditioin

   - Fukuda's empirical formula and other research work.

   - Experiment (full frequency range)

   - From potential based motion analysis results, you can find resonance frequencies(piston-mode, sloshing-mode) from the peaks in surge and heave RAO.

   - CFD simulation (full frequency range) 

- For the model with cofferdam (or called recess deck)
