I am in a project to simulate how Analog Network Coding(ANC) or PNC works in Mesh Wireless Networks. Is it possible to simulate ANC or PNC in NS-3? I know there is KODO library for network coding that works in NS-3 but it only support for Digital Network Coding (DNC). Does anybody has experience how to simulate ANC in NS-3?

Thank you so much for the files and it is very useful. At this moment, I am looking for tools or software that can simulate ANC or PNC. I know that MATLAB can do it but MATLAB is a commercial tool. I am thinking of using NS-3 for my project but it seems NS-3 does support for simulating ANC/PNC.

I think it really depends on what you want/need to simulate.
Usually, ANC and PNC are physical layer topics, therefore software like Matlab, Octave, Scilab and Julia seems the best tools, if you are investigating symbol-level issues.
On the other hand, you may be interested in system-level simulations, where events can be scheduled and entities react to what is happening, then ns3 or Omnet and similar software are the most suitable. In this case, you need a simplified PHY, which is usually based on outputs of link-layer simulations.

Thank you for your feedbacks. I want to investigate symbol-level issues and I guess I am going either for Octave, Scilab, or Julia which is a free software. After doing some research on three of them, I think Octave will be my choice.
