Which one, if any, could be the culprit of the presented skin eruption?
A 9-year- old boy developped a strong swelling and blister reaction on his hands after collecting different plants during a school walk at the end of May. In the first week his condition was getting worse in spite of a local corticosteroid therapy. The skin eruption had a dyshidrosiforme appearance and could be hardly defined as phototoxic or photoallergic.
The parents brought to our clinic parts of some plants the child had touched. The plant indetification was extremely difficult, especially for a nonbotanist. Here are my attempts:
Agropyron?, Sorghum halepense?, Urtica dioica, Allium scorodoprasum, Lamium maculatum and Sambucus racemosa or nigra.
I will be grateful for any opinion, suggestion or experience .
