I found a lot of research with the use of QCA in studies on management and business organization and some studies that have applied this method to comparing democracies. However, I still can not find application of QCA in legislative studies.
Please look at the article I wrote with Rossella Ciccia on regulations on parental leave, making a QCA fuzzy set typology. It is in Journal of Europan Social Policy.
On the COMPASSS website, there is a bibliography that now contains 11 entries for legal studies and criminology. See http://www.compasss.org/bibliography/legCri.htm. For 2 studies, the data is also available for purposes of replication. In addition, you may want to browse the section "Comparative Politics", which lists articles like the following: Raunio, Tapio. 2005. "Holding Governments Accountable in European Affairs: Explaining Cross-National Variation." Journal of Legislative Studies 11 (3-4):319-42.
