Computers will be intelligent. Will this just be a symbiotic relationship (computer as tool)? Or will computers be “conscious”?
Some AI personalities will reside in the cloud and we will be able to conjure them on public terminals with speech and gesture 'touchscreens'. Some will be bound to localizable hardware, like in our homes, cars, and smartphones. Yes, they will be conscious.
In order to make AI personalities value their lives, some types of them should rely on neural chips cast in hardware that cannot be copied. So they will intend to safeguard their bodies and avoid risks.

Forms of existing technology are neither capitalistic or socialistic. They involve mass production to supply products or services to an expanding population, irrespective of the economic foundation of the country. Production is truly global, with the socialistic states equally involved in the technological systems allow us to meet demands. How do we address matters like the Covid pandemic? How do we extend the availability of medical technology to include people at risk across the globe? It requires multiple pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, financial institutions, government bodies, transportation networks, supply chains, etc. It involves participation or government systems be they capitalist, socialist, communist, or whatever. We have the tools not available a century ago with the Spanish Flu pandemic, and we have these because of our technological achievements.
A Pollyanna approach wishing us back to a more "natural" state cannot meet the needs of the present world. It is the problems inherent in this "natural" state that have been the forces that led to our current technological situation, and it is problems in our current technological situation that will lead us to further advances. In a sense that IS the natural way, the evolutionary way--the way humankind has always faced challenges and adapted to meet and conquer challenges.
Human to human interactions, the way we apply our ethical principles to life, is another issue entirely. And whether you are socialist, communist, capitalist, anarchist, or whatever, how you apply your ethical principles to your behavior in this world remains an individual choice and an individual responsibility
